Welcome Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts!
12/03/2009
Yozell Associates is delighted to welcome Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts into its family of clients. Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, led by CEO Ruth Bramson, is part of the world renowned non-profit organization, and serves over 45,000 girls and 17,000 adult volunteers in 178 communities in Eastern Massachusetts. Since the inception of Girl Scouts in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, the Girl Scouts organization has focused on building confidence, courage, and character in girls by giving them opportunities to nurture their own identities in a safe and enriching environment. More than just cookie-selling skills, the Girl Scouts experience exposes girls to everything from literature to finance, from camping to public service, thereby cultivating values, self- esteem, confidence, and knowledge that produces future leaders that succeed socially and personally.
Recently, on October 29, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts honored women who are shining examples of the spirit that Girl Scouts strives to foster in its members at the 18th Annual Leading Women Awards celebration. John Yozell, Marijane Norris-Geary, Elizabeth Margolis, Heather Cloran, and Katie Stokes attended, and, after enjoying a wonderful breakfast, witnessed firsthand the success of the Girl Scouts as the honorees and the Girl Scouts chosen to introduce them shared their inspiring stories of leadership and achievement.
Yozell Associates is proud to work with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and looks forward to a successful partnership.
