2009 Yozell Associates Seminar
11/24/2009
On October 27, 2009, Yozell Associates held its annual seminar at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, MA.
After a delicious breakfast, Yozell hosted two speakers. The first, David B. Wilson, of Hirsh Roberts Weinstein LLP discussed the new Massachusetts Data Security Breach Laws and Regulations. David discussed the new requirements of the law and what would be required of businesses to protect their employees and clients’ personal information. By using real-life scenarios, David effectively conveyed basic things that could be done to protect yourself, your employees, customers, and clients.
The second portion of the seminar introduced Iris Sokol and Linda Vacovec from Fitness Works at Work, Inc. Their presentation, “Wellness on a Shoe String,” discussed worksite wellness programs as a means to manage rising healthcare costs and foster good health and responsibility in its employees. Iris and Linda discussed ways any company can initiate a wellness program on a budget of virtually nothing.
A few lucky attendees received raffle prizes such as Celtics tickets, yoga mats, and exercise bags as part of a raffle drawing.
Yozell Associates would like to thank everyone involved for another successful and informative annual seminar.
